Our Marrickville client was looking at creating a second income by setting up a self contained, semi-detached dwelling off their existing house in the inner west. At the same time they wanted to utilise part of the yard that was generally not functional and unused by the family. A very clever design that includes a studio like bedroom over the main living area, a new functional kitchen and a new bathroom.
Architecturally designed, self contained, semi detached granny flat with separate access. Extension included a new living & dining area, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and a studio bedroom. Alterations were also made to the existing house bedrooms and roof line to blend in extended area.
