Our Kingsford clients were looking to improve and expand their existing family home. As they had decided they would be staying in their home for the foreseeable future, they wanted to update the design of the house to suit their family. The plan was to extend the home to create a retreat for their son upstairs, while redesigning the layout downstairs to allow for entertaining.
This architectural extension consisted of knocking down the rear of the existing house, to extend the ground floor and first floor. A complete alteration and and rebuild of the ground floor included two new living areas, new kitchen with a butler’s pantry, new dining, lounge, laundry, and bathroom. While we added two new bedrooms, a rumpus room and a new bathroom to the first floor. We then finished off with an outside entertaining and bbq area, plus a refurbish and rebuild of the pool area and rear landscaping.
